Amy Sytsma is a founder and educator of Neonatal Academy with Mobile Simulation, a healthcare educational company focusing on neonates located in Omaha, Nebraska. Amy is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice since 1990 and practicing as an RN since 1985.
After graduating in 1990, Amy practiced as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in Colorado Springs in a prominent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit managing neonates within the unit and during transport. In the mid 90s, Amy moved to Nebraska. Amy has been a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the Omaha area utilizing her talents as a staff member of the NNP team, early intervention coordinator, NNP supervisor, educator for registered nurses, NNPs and medical students/residents and Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Board Member. Amy has taught NRP for over 30 years and STABLE for over 20 years.
